I've had weeks of rain so a recent wildlife photo was not possible. I have a shot from June 14th as it's now butterfly season! The next month should be fantastic given the rain. Butterflies are my wildlife when I'm not photographing the cat. I'll photograph anything really but some critters hold my attention year after year. Butterflies do just that.

that is such a great picture with the butterfly!!! it is interesting that one part of the country can have so much rain and another part (west coast where I am at) is in the middle of a drought

I love the picture of the butterfly -- the coloring of it is so nice with the blossom it's perched on. And then all the green around it -- simply beautiful!
Excellent as usual, Steven, and it's great to see you back in the mix. I thought of you yesterday when I saw a butterfly in the alleyway by the wash - and totally failed to get a picture. :(
