I spent a few days looking for silence before I realized I was not going to see it. I'd photograph when I heard silence! One evening there were storms off in the distance and I could hear thunder but as sunset arrived I began to hear nothing at all. That's when I photographed my silence, a glassy lake with turbulent sky.
